The Chinese manufacturer Lenovo owned Motorola has launched its new smartphone on Z series, the Moto Z3. The model was launched on Thursday at an event in Chicago, the company’s headquarters. The new smartphone will be placed above the Moto Z3 play that debuted in June.
Each time the launch of new smartphone, everyone will be curious on what’s new?. The smartphone comes with a splash-resistant build and will be running stock android for vanilla android experience. As a part of the Moto Z-Series legacy, this will be also supporting Moto Mods through a dedicated Pogo-pin connector at the back.
Lenovo owned Motorola has also partnered up with Qualcomm to launch a 5G Moto Mod, that will enable the next generation network access to the Moto Z3. The 5G Moto Mod will be using a Snapdragon X50 model and “millimeter wave components” to offer 5G access on Verizon network. Other interesting features include;

Apart from the normal strategy of launching a FORCE model to the existing smarphopnes, Motorola has also announced thath the Moto Z3 won’t be having an anticipated Moto Z3 Force. Also this smartphone will be the final product under the Z series for this year which includes Moto Z3 and Moto Z3 play.
Moto Z3 Price
The new Motorola Moto Z3 is priced in US for about $480 which is approximately Rs.33,000/- INR. The smartphone will go on sale exclusively through Verizon in Ceramic Black color option starting August 16. Customers in the US will also be able to get a carrier-locked version of the Moto Z3 at a monthly charge of $20 for 24 months.Regarding the Moto Mod, the company haven’t specified the price , but has confirmed that the new offering will be exclusive to the US in early 2019.
Moto Z3 Specification
Motorola has launched the Moto Z3 Play earlier this year and similar to that , the Moto Z3 One Button Nav that offers an iPhone X-like experience. The Android P introduced navigation button, which allows users to swipe left to go back, right to access recent apps, and tap to go home. The Moto Z3 is quipped with a side facing fingerprint-scanner on the right siide of device which might come in handy for many users. It is also quipped with a water-repellent P2i coating that is touted to protect from spills and splashes on top of 6000 series polished aluminium frame.

Dual rear camera setup that includes a 12-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and a 12-megapixel monochrome sensor – paired with a dual-LED flash module. Over at the front, is an 8-megapixel sensor along with an f/2.0 aperture and an 84-degree field-of-view. The front camera sensor also enables a Face Unlock feature.
The Moto Z3 runs Android 8.1 Oreo, up-gradable to Android P
The smartphone features a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) AMOLED display along with a Max Vision 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Motorola has provided 64GB of on-board storage that is expandable via micro-SD card (up to 2TB)

Accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, fingerprint scanner (on the the right panel), magnetometer (compass), and proximity sensor.
The handset packs a 3000mAh battery that offers fast charging through the bundled 15W Turbo Power charger. Lastly, it measures 156.5×76.5×6.75mm and weighs 156 grams.
